“ Don Tacho is amazing!! Great prices and fantastic food!! My family and I usually get the carnitas family dinner with 2 pounds of meat, a 16 oz beans and rice. You can't go wrong when your feeding a large group, it goes a long way and you even have leftovers!! I definitely recommend this place! I highly suggest getting the grilled Jalapenos and onions! ”

“ The food here is incredible, I originally was disheartened when I saw the prices on the menu. But when my food arrived and I took a bite, it made sense. I'm not the type of person to be able clear a plate usually, but the meat absolutely melted in my mouth and it wasn't long til I cleared my plate. “ On June 6th, 2024. I took my husband and 11 year old who just graduated from elementary school out for BRUNCH. One chose American host (which was packed, the other another restaurant in town) and I chose DON TACHOS. Not only was the guy in the front welcoming and patient with us (with me bc I was undecided on what to order) but towards the end he came to our table and gave my son an ARROZ CON LECHE CONTAINER to go congratulating him for graduating that morning. I WISH I WOULD HAVE ASKED FOR THE GENTLEMAN'S NAME BUT I will for sure NEXT VISIT. Not ONLY was the food delicious but the gesture alone. Meant alot to me at least That was the icing to my boys cake and made our entire day ONE TO REMEMBER. So thank you. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE GOES ALONG WAY... ”
“ I did not think we needed another Mexican restaurant. After eating here, I can't imagine not having it. Really good pastor and good value. Lengua is extra tender. Tacos are crazy good and served on that little plastic frisbee, so it feels like Mexico. Salsa is delicious, though it's not very spicy. I'm planning to go weekly. Oh. Get a stuffed churro. It's 2. ”
“ Very sparse and modest interior, but super friendly service and good vegan food make up for its lack of atmosphere (don't be fooled by it). You order food at the front counter, reading from a posted menu, asking questions of the server and easily negotiating the ingredients you want added or omitted, then have a seat at the limited number of tables in the back. The layout is awkwardly unique, but it works if you're not too picky. I ordered a vegan mushroom soup with cactus added as an option, served with corn flour tortillas; freshly made guacamole and tortilla chips; and a sumptuous vegan burrito (which I saved for breakfast the following day, it was great). This is a hidden gem, some locals in this small town don't even know about it. ”
“ Favorite taco shop in Lompoc. They serve a very wide range of tacos. The Al Pastor taco is served with a slice of fruit on it, which only about 20% of taco places do. The salsa bar has lots of toppings for you to choose from. The meat was cooked nicely and the tortillas tasted fresh. The atmosphere here is really nice-- there are a lot of pictures from around the Lompoc valley which adds to the sense of it being a local mom-and-pop place. Overall, a great local restaurant with an authentic feel and taste. ”
